The new AF-P 18-55mm lens transforms the camera’s Live View performance. It’s still not as fast as a mirrorless camera, but the speed and responsiveness of the Live View autofocus is certainly unexpected – and it works really well with the screen’s touch control. In this video I show you how to take professional portrait shots with your kit lens 18-55 mm lens. We also use it on a crop sensor body the Canon T3I. We go
The Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS is one of a familiar breed of lenses: an entry-level telephoto zoom lens designed to be paired with the standard 18-55mm kit zoom. On the plus side, this lens has enough reach for sports and wildlife photography, and includes helpful optical image stabilization (that's the OSS) that can help prevent blur from
I’m also looking for any other tips/lens recommendations for my new X-E3. Coming from Nikon, my most used lens is a 24-120 lens. I’m waiting to get home to analyze my catalog and see what my most used focal lengths are. If you're just coming into the Fujifilm eco system a good example of a used 18-55mm is going to be all you'll need for a
The 18-55 is versatile for group shots and a walkabout lens. The 16-55 offers nothing more in real world use that you will notice. I would not want to deal with the 46mp D850 files for a weddingsimply not needed. The best wedding camera is probably the A7s. Small files, good low-light AF and very good high ISO performance. The EOS 1500D represents a relatively minor upgrade to the EOS 1300D, distinguished from its predecessor mainly by the higher-resolution CMOS sensor, which is the same chip as used in the majority of Canon’s current entry- and mid Nikon’s technical name for this lens is the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED. It’s designed for Nikon’s cameras with the DX cropped sensor, so to convert to full-frame equivalent, you multiple by 1.5. So on a camera with a cropped DX sensor it comes to around 26 to 83mm. The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED VR II lens mounted on a Nikon D3300 body, extended to 200mm. Build quality is pretty decent for a consumer zoom. Most of the outer parts are plastic – contributing the light weight of the lens –, but the optical elements are made of high-grade glass. The zoom ring is wide and ridged, and zoom
Re: Optimal aperture for 18-55mm @55. In reply to El Chubasco • Jun 22, 2017. 3. As a general rule of thumb: stop down at least one stop for optimal sharpness, especially with a zoom. As for the 18-55: it has good image quality but I feel its weak point is at 55mm (not that its bad but the wide end is better).
Comment: Good condition. Lens glass is clear, and the body and LCD show cosmertic signs of use, mainly along the grip.
