The Walton book lists the BMW NA Sales figures for the M3 (i.e., how many cars of a particular model year were sold that year). However, that does not really indicate how many were produced within a particular year because some 90 and 91 model cars were sold after 1991.
The valves were enlarged too, and the cams were swapped for more aggressive items, 282° instead of 268. Piston skirt-cooling oil jets also featured and peak power stood at 238hp.
