I recently bought a logitech F310 to play AC2 cause keyboard + mouse combo feels odd to me. Anyhow, I noticed that it has a controller setting. But after tinkering with it a bit I encountered a few problems :( 1. The direction buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) isn't being registered when I press on them in the customize control's screen. 2. RT & LT aren't registering as buttons either. 3. When I The Verdict. Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR isn’t just another fragmented tech demo, but a fully realized Assassin’s Creed game that benefits greatly from its new medium and breathes life into the familiar Ubisoft formula. Running across rooftops in Renaissance-era Italy and sneaking through the streets of ancient Athens is a blast, and the Now, open the DS4Windows Settings menu > Enable the “Hide DS4 Controller” option. Finally, save changes, and reboot the device to apply changes immediately. As mentioned already, this particular solution did work for a couple of affected Assassins Creed Odyssey players who were facing issues with the controller. PC and PS-controllers just don't work too well while Xbox is plug in and play. You can plug in a ps4 controller and it'll work just fine. Proper button prompts too. Yeah but you can bluetooth a Xbox controller without issues, with cable ps4 finally works well with Windows 10.
So, im having an anoying problem when playing Assassins 1 on Steam. I have a bootleg x-box 360 controller that i use to play games on steam. The thing is, when it comes to assassins creed 1, the controller only works properly when used on my notebook.
And if you don't want to go based on logic, Ubisoft confirmed already on their system requirements page for the game that XboxOne, Xbox360, and PS4 controllers will be fully supported. #3. Now open “games” and it should be there as “Assassins Creed Valhalla” click that and scroll down to the application “AC_Valhalla” (or if you have one of the bundles, click that) And bingo, you can now play the game through steam and use your Nintendo Switch Controller (or any other non-compatible controllers) I spent a couple hours
If you are a PC gamer and you are also used to keyboard and mouse I would never, under any circumstances recommend you use a gamepad for this game. Seriously, because of the way AC2 controls moving Ezio fast and at the same time having complete control over his direction, is a pain with a controller. I know it was made with a controller in mind

Many games have direct Xbox controller support, but programs such as DS4Windows allow you to basically make your computer think you're using an an Xbox controller while you're really using a DS4 (PS4 controller). So any game with Xbox controller support has PS controller support as well thanks to such programs.
Controller, definitely. The game feels more comfortable with a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse. I gotta agree I suck at aiming with controllers, but that's one con in a sea of pros, so I will always stick with my dear old Xbox 360 controller I bought exclusively to play AC on PC. electricshadow • 8 yr. ago.
1. Check some videos in Youtube - to see how others fix this problem. 2. Try configure each button manually: when you open the 360ce.exe click on the button then assign a button from your controller. It may be little tricky, so you need to do this until you find perfect conmbination of buttons that works for you. 3.
Now Enjoy Full DualSense Controller Support on PC for AC Valhalla. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been receiving a lot of support from Ubisoft. With Wrath of the Druids out and Siege of Paris on the way, Valhalla players have a lot of content to enjoy. Ubisoft isn’t falling behind on the hardware front either, as PC players can now take
havent tried this game with a controller. but it is the first one that i like using the keyboard on. #3. Erinyes Dec 3, 2013 @ 12:33am. Specifically for Black Flag I think the changes they did to the keyboard and mouse keys to be exactly right. I'd advice you to use "spacebar" for freerun instead of "shift" ( which is the default ) though or BTUl.
