Just remove the small wire from the left side of the GPR and run a new wire from that post to a push button switch and from there to ground. The glow plugs will not heat unless you push that button if you set it up that way. See post #8 from Kwikkordead for detailed instructions. Having problems starting when cold? Hi, my Focus 2006 tdci 1.6 110 went into Ford yesterday for a regeneration (dreaded DPF again!), all done but the mechanic said the car was still in limp mode so would do another diagnostic. called back an hour later to inform me that there is water in the glow plug relay (???) and would cost around the £180 mark - bringing the grand total

Glow plug prices can vary, but somewhere between 25 and 50 per plug is pretty standard, meaning they are a little pricey, but not too bad. In the ford s max the glow plug relay is located towards the rear, beneath the airbox and in front of the gearbox. aCWZDu.
